In 1986 my second class worked on optical illusion calendars. The idea was to make someone or a group of people, look like they were doing something they weren’t really doing!
The idea most tried was when one person stands in the foreground, with others strategically placed in the background. The foreground person might, for example, hold out a flat hand looking at it, with the background person or people lined up level with the flat hand, to look like they are standing on the hand as little people. There were a number of good ideas for the calendar and here are some of the results, which looked quite effective.
It did take quite a few rolls of film in those days to get enough prints that worked!
