In 1986 Mrs Nicholson’s Primary 5 class and Mr Pike’s Primary 7 class put together a presentation of the pantomime ‘Cinderella’. A lot of preparation went into this production, in learning the parts and the costumes, and delivering the punchlines at the right time.
The Prince was Jonathan Tipper and Cinderella was played by Michelle Isherwood. Martyn Riley and Stuart Hall were the guards who threw the ugly sisters out of the palace, enjoyed by many on the night. Richard Bartlam and Jamie O’Connor were the ugly sisters and they were amazingly funny.
There were some really catchy songs throughout the show, with typically funny pantomime jokes throughout. The show was a great success and everyone enjoyed the performance a lot on the day.
