163 Gorgie Scouts – Killin 1972

In 1972 the 163rd Gorgie Scout Troop returned to Killin, having enjoyed a great camp in 1968.

On this visit to Killin we went to a different campsite, which was near the one used in 1968 and was by the same river. Many of the usual scout routines can be seen, with daily inspections of patrol and tents.  The two man canoe is going well, and rubber dinghies are also in use.  Mr R.B.Young is Group Scout Leader and Eric Carbarns is Scout Leader, with older scouts as Junior Leaders.

Parents and friends enjoyed a visit as usual on the second Sunday and these photos are taken from Mr Young’s slides.
