The 163rd Gorgie Scouts travelled all over Scotland on summer and weekend camps, and sometimes would return over the years to favourite places.
Aviemore was a favourite place and here you can see scouts visiting in 1965. It’s interesting to see the khaki uniforms change around 1969/70, and the travel arrangements also change over time, from our removals van to coaches, The towns are also recorded well in these earlier times.
Most names in this period are not known, but if anyone can enlighten us with more details drop us a line. These photos are taken from Mr Young’s slides.
