Marybank was a small school and for sports events competed in small schools activities. The football team was in a six-a-side league and played against other schools in Ross-shire of similar or slightly larger in size.
Being a small school, you were never always guaranteed to have enough players of the right age, and if you did, they didn’t always have an interest in playing football. Some years you were lucky and had a great successful team, while other years they just tried their best to enjoy themselves.
The team was organised at that time by a parent, Mr McGregor, who was quite passionate about the game.
In the team of 1991/92 we had: Graeme Cleland, Martin Gray, Malcolm Mack, Steven Gibb, Alex MacGregor, Jamie MacGregor, Tom Moysey, Craig McKenzie and Gary Sinclair.

Hello Martin,
Really good to hear from you, yes those were fun times, how are you? Are you still in Marybank? Sorry I had forgotten your last name on some of the photos, it was bugging me, but I can sort that now. Probably an age thing 🙂
Hi Tom,
That’s all good, it’s good to see all the old photographs 👍, no I’m not in Marybank anymore, I’ve been living in Australia for the last 13 years in a place called Kalgoorlie, I’m a Welder/Fabricator working on different mine sites, where are you living now and are you still teaching 🙂
Sent an email Martin.
