At Marybank Primary the Primary 1-4 pupils used a section of the school house garden to plant flowers and vegetables, as part of the ongoing curriculum. This was something the class teacher was interested in doing, and used it in a variety of her work.
Here the pupils are looking at tulips and other spring flowers that they have planted around 1994. I think there was another activity prior to these photos being taken, but unfortunately I’m not sure what. We ended in the garden for this photo opportunity.
