Tom Pike had a barbecue at his house for the staff of Oxbridge Lane Primary School (and his neighbours) around 1987/8. It started as pleasant barbecue weather, but as is typical, it began to drizzle, so we took the barbecue food into the garage, where we had a great evening’s fun and entertainment.
