Gothia Cup Teams, Sweden<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are a few team photos taken during and after the Gothia Cup in 1978.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These photos show the under 12 and under 14 teams during the Gothia Cup, which took place that summer in Gothenburg and at Fords Road, on our return.  There are also some under 13 players included in the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Teams have some of the silverware they won at the Gothia Cup and afterwards. Following the actual competition we were invited to take part in another local tournament, where we received some great hospitality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The teams were under 12: Nicky Henderson, Matty Hunter, Sean Fallon, Gordon Leslie, Murray Darling, Billy Paxton, Mark Currie, Mark Crolla, John Connarty, Jimmy Drysdale, Derek Flockhart, Darren Campbell, and Kevin Galloway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Under 14: David Lennie, Alan Lewis, Alan Hill, Paul Drummond, Davis Rennie, Andrew McBain, Brian Rendall, James Tullis, Les Purves, Stewart McGinnie, Duncan Milne, Simon Kerr and Steven Bryce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
